Erosion and sediment control
Erosion and sediment control measures are implemented and maintained during the period of construction.  Disturbed soils, silt, litter and other material loose in the environment have the potential to end up as deposits in our storm water drains, streams, rivers and dams. To prevent short or long term environmental problems such as:
  • Loss of habitat and increased turbidity in natural waterways
  • Blocked storm water drains leading to street flooding and increased maintenance costs
  • Silting up of rivers and streams leading to the increased risk of flooding
  • Increased public health issues as a result of increased algal blooms
Effective onsite sediment and erosion control are provided to benefits the environment such as:
  • Improved Occupational Health and Safety on the building site
  • Reduced clean up costs
  • Improved wet weather working conditions, reduced downtime and earlier building completion
  • Improved waterways
As Developers and builders (including other subcontractors and delivery drivers) have obligation to take all reasonable care to prevent material (soil, sand, litter) from leaving construction sites. Control measures are installed before excavation or site disturbance. We maintained good working order and repair throughout the construction or the development work. The control measures remain in place until 70% re-vegetation cover has been established.

Safe building materials
Asbestos used in construction is a concern when conduction of work on any older building.

Hoardings
Hoardings are fenced and/or scaffolds erected on the ground to form a barrier between public thoroughfares and construction sites. This may include overhead protective structures that are required for the protection of adjoining public areas and persons on a construction site. Our hoarding is located as far as practicable along the boundary line of the property.
